ALLOCATION
Funding Period: Requests are accepted between September and December and approximately 15 small grants between $100 and $1,000 are given each April. There are some very rare extenuating circumstances that are considered exceptions. This is determined based on BUF’s policies, guidelines and funds available

CRITERIA
Grant and Community Involvement: The diverse Board of Directors is comprised of clergy, business, and civic and other community leaders. They review all written proposals requesting funds, partnerships and/or resources.
