 Our Houston Agri-Power (HAP) program has been selected to help support urban agriculture in Houston, through funding from the USDA-Farm Service Agency and TIME Inc. For our project we will support horticulture and entrepreneur training with the Harris County Opportunity Center, support 2 farm to school programs in Houston ISD, and we are partnering with Prairie View A&M Universities Cooperative Extension Program and the Texas Small Farm Community Based Organization to train urban farmers about USDA programs they may qualify for and provide funding to support urban agriculture programs in Houston.
